Join Pericles and Euripides, two Athenian brothers from the 5th Century BC, as they introduce pupils to their amazing city and reveal their love of storytelling. Pupils are taken on a guided tour of Athens, help to re-create some of the most famous monuments such as the Parthenon and the Theatre of Dionysus, and train for the Olympics.

Like all of our workshops, there is an emphasis on interactivity. Students are asked to help create characters, atmosphere and setting as the two brothers tell the story of Theseus and the Minotaur in a fun, vibrant way.

This is a workshop that satisfies Key Stage 2 requirements in ancient civilizations and the development of drama skills. Incorporating introductions to ancient Greek life, history, language and theatre, Telling Tall Stories is the perfect accompaniment to learning at Key Stage 2.
